Eligible individuals can receive up to eight rapid tests per month at over 1,700 company pharmacies
BOISE, Idaho – April 4, 2022 – Albertsons Companies (NYSE: ACI) announced today that customers with Medicare Part B coverage, including those enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, will now be able to get free COVID-19 rapid tests at the company’s more than 1,700 pharmacies. Eligible individuals can get up to eight over-the-counter tests each month, without an appointment, through the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

To date, Albertsons Cos. pharmacists have administered more than 12 million COVID-19 vaccines through the company’s more than 1,700 pharmacies nationwide including those in Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, and Carrs stores.
