Albertsons Companies and Chevron U.S.A. Inc. are making it simpler for customers to get more value from their
shopping by combining their rewards from two popular rewards programs.
Customers can now link their free Albertsons Cos. forU™ and Chevron Texaco Rewards® accounts, creating a seamless way to
combine their redeemable rewards for even more fuel savings. The new account-linking capability helps customers access
rewards earned through everyday purchases and combine them with Chevron Texaco Rewards at participating Chevron and
Texaco stations. It is another way Albertsons Cos. is helping customers make the most of their budgets while enjoying
the convenience of a connected rewards experience.
For more than 13 years, Albertsons Cos. and Chevron have worked together to help customers save on fuel. This latest
integration builds on that relationship by making it even simpler for shared rewards members to access and use their
redeemable gas rewards.
Whether you're stocking up for the week, picking up ingredients for dinner or shopping for household essentials, your
purchases can help unlock savings at the pump.
How It Works
Getting started is simple:
- Link your Albertsons Cos. forU and Chevron Texaco Rewards accounts.
- Enter the phone number associated with your forU account at participating Chevron and Texaco stations. If your
phone numbers are different, use the number linked to your Chevron Texaco Rewards account.
- Apply your combined redeemable rewards from both programs to maximize fuel savings.
Maximize Your Rewards
Customers who link their Albertsons Cos. forU and Chevron Texaco Rewards accounts can maximize savings at the pump by
combining rewards from both programs. At participating stations outside California, members can save up to $1 per
gallon when they redeem 1,000 points through Albertsons Cos. forU points and up to 50 cents-per-gallon through Chevron
Texaco Rewards, for combined savings of up to $1.50 per gallon. At participating California stations, members can
save up to 20 cents-per-gallon when they redeem 200 points through Albertsons Cos. forU points and up to 50 cents-per
gallon through Chevron Texaco Rewards, for combined savings of up to 70 cents-per-gallon.*
At Albertsons Cos., linking forU and Chevron Texaco Rewards accounts is another example of how the company is helping
customers save on fuel while delivering a more convenient shopping experience.
The enhancement was highlighted during the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron, an event that reflects the
longstanding relationship between the two companies and their shared dedication to the communities they serve.

*Chevron Texaco Rewards can only be redeemed at participating Chevron and Texaco stations and cannot be used at
Safeway fuel stations. Albertsons Cos. gas rewards may be redeemed at Albertsons Cos. fuel stations and
participating partner fuel stations, subject to program terms and conditions.
Every 100 Safeway forU™ Points equal 10 cents off per gallon at participating owned and partner fuel stations.
Gas reward savings in a single fuel transaction are limited (i) to 25 gallons for one vehicle per
transaction––subject to rounding (or the limit for your payment card) ; (ii) to the maximum per-gallon gas rewards
discount available at participating Chevron stations limited to 20 cents off per gallon at Chevron stations located
in California and Hawaii and $1.00 off per gallon at Chevron stations in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Texas,
Nevada, Boise, and Alaska and to any transaction dollar limits that your financial institution may place on your
payment card. To use rewards for gas, you must establish eligibility by entering the phone number used to register
your Safeway forU™ account before pumping fuel. Points will be available for use at fuel stations approximately one
hour after being earned. Gas rewards may be temporarily unavailable for immediate use due to technical or
maintenance issues. Gas rewards may be redeemed only at Albertsons Companies’ grocery banner stores fuel stations
and at participating partner fuel stations (“participating fuel stations”). Gas rewards are not available in the
Jewel-Osco market area. One-Touch Fuel™, Scan & Pay, Fast Forward and SmartCheck are not accepted as forms of
