In recognition of our efforts to empower Americans to live healthier lives, Albertsons Cos. was the only grocery retailer to sign the Make Health Technology Great Again pledge to modernize America’s digital health infrastructure. Albertsons Cos. CEO Susan Morris joined executives from major healthcare and information technology firms including Amazon, Anthropic, Apple, Google, and OpenAI at the White House to pledge our company’s commitment to Diabetes & Obesity Prevention & Management. Within the diabetes and obesity category, Albertsons Cos. joins Noom, Virta Health and Welldoc, among others.
Specifically, we pledge to explore how our Sincerely Health platform can connect to The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Aligned Networks for trusted, patient-centered and practical data exchange that will be accessible for all network types—health information networks and exchanges, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and tech platforms. Our Sincerely Health platform’s diabetes and obesity tools will use participating customers’ history to provide them with more tailored guidance, offering direct assistance when appropriate and directing them to a healthcare professional when needed. Our goal is to empower consumers to share and access their personal health information to make more informed healthcare decisions, if they choose to participate.

An online pharmacy experience features tools for managing prescriptions, scheduling vaccine appointments and connecting users with general practitioners via convenient telehealth services. Additionally, users can connect their favorite fitness apps or wearables to earn rewards for walking 8,000+ steps a day and challenges offer a dynamic way to turn wellness goals into real rewards. Users take on challenges like increasing daily steps, improving sleep, or making healthier food choices to earn “healthy points” while a gamified experience lets them compete on leaderboards, beat personal bests, and earn unique badges.

In addition to Sincerely Health, the free Albertsons Cos. mobile app offers a variety of digital features to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Shoppable Meal Plans and Recipes Tool boasts over 10,000 exclusive recipes spanning breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert that can be filtered by dietary preference, food restrictions and serving size, as well as omitting an ingredient that may not be a family favorite. Flash™ services allow customers to select up to 35 of their favorite items for pickup or delivery in as little as 30 minutes,* encouraging customers to cook meals at home and avoid the drive thru. Store Mode allows customers to find product aisle locations, clip coupons and more for a faster in-store shopping experience.
To help budgets stretch for even more healthy items, customers who sign up for Albertsons Cos.’ free for U™ loyalty program** will receive $5 off their next purchase of $25 or more of qualifying items. Members can also save up to 35% weekly with personalized deals, digital coupons, a birthday treat and a free monthly item. In addition, shoppers who upgrade to Albertsons Cos.’ paid FreshPass® program will enjoy unlimited free delivery on orders over $30; $5 monthly credit; and extra savings on select private label brands.
