As EVP, Wayne oversees a team of more than 600 stores that have been serving customers in California since 1906. Today, Albertsons Companies operates in the region under the Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions, and Andronico’s banners.
Wayne began his career as a front-end bagger in Denver and rose through the ranks at Albertsons, serving in roles across the country. As Division President and COO, he inspired thousands through his leadership, coaching, and commitment to service excellence. His deep operational knowledge—shaped by experience in California, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and New Mexico—will continue to drive growth in the California Region.
