Sharon Hall - Vice President, Strategic Sourcing - Center of Excellence & Corporate and Shared Services

“Black History Month is about remembering and honoring the talented, courageous, bold pioneers, trailblazers, and heroes who overcame obstacles and persevered in tough times; many who used their gifts and talents to promote equality and human rights, and those who lost their lives in the fight, who simply wanted to be free; and many who contributed to the modernization of this country, yet their labor not acknowledged or credited to them; I am grateful for their sacrifices, tenacity, and strength which paved the way to my current and future possibilities as a Black American.”

What is your favorite quote?

"The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any." – Alice Walker

Randy Kimbrough - Grocery Warehouse Operations Manager

“Black History Month is a time to not only reflect but honor those African Americans who paved the way and gave us hope and life lessons, to help build up our character, in order for us to be a vital person in our communities.”

 Who inspires you?

“First, I would have to say my father.  As a young boy, I watched him work several jobs to put my siblings and I through private grammar and high school.  He would then come home and cut the grass, shovel the snow or fix things around the house.  And he still made time to do family things with us and attend my basketball games as a youth. Secondly, I’m a huge basketball junkie.  I grew up watching Michael Jordan dominate the world.  Michael has taught me, on and off the court, to take pride in what I do, have discipline and work hard at whatever you are doing.”

Ebony Robinson - Store Director

“Black History Month means to persevere, to feel empowered, and commemorate those who had led the way.”
