Store Hours and Operations
With the developing situation surrounding COVID-19, our stores are experiencing a larger amount of traffic.
To ensure both our associates are customers are cared for and kept safe and healthy, our stores across the country are implementing adjusted hours of operations. These reduced hours will give our associates time to restock the shelves, and allow them to care for themselves as well.
BOISE,Idaho, — March 23, 2020 – Albertsons Companies today announced that the company has begun implementing Social Distancing protocols across all 2,200+ stores. The goal with the protocol throughout the store is to follow guidance from the CDC to prevent customers from being within 6 feet of any other person for more than 10 minutes. Customers should see changes continue over the next week.
BOISE, Idaho, — March 20, 2020 – As an added precaution during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, Albertsons Companies is installing Plexiglas in its checkout lanes as a protective barrier between customers and checkers. The Plexiglas “sneeze guards” will be installed in the company’s 2,200+ stores over the next two weeks, with many locations being complete in the next several days.
As we continue to navigate through this public health crisis together, the health and well-being of our associates and our customers remains our top priority. To that end, we are making changes to our deli service procedures to make sure that we are doing everything we can to keep our associates and the customers we serve safe.
As the situation around Coronavirus continues to unfold, Albertsons Companies’ 2,200+ stores nationwide are setting aside dedicated shopping hours for senior citizens and other at-risk populations, such as pregnant women or those with compromised immune systems, who have been advised to avoid leaving home as much as possible.
